  • What is a recommendation and how many do I need?
A recommendation is a form or letter written by a sorority alumna that supports your application to a sorority and recommends you for potential membership. It is suggested that you receive one recommendation per sorority. Although some colleges will state that recommendations are not required, it is in your best interest to obtain them. They serve as your introduction to the chapter prior to recruitment and help the members get to know you better.
